Car show registration from 10am to 12pm, judging begins at 12, awards ceremony at 5:30. Race registration starts at 10am, heads up qualifying at 12:00, 1:00, & 2:00. Eliminations at 3:30, 4:30, & 5:30. EVENT ACTIVITIES: Car/truck/bike show, 1/4 mile drag racing, Usaci double points stereo crank it up contest, burnout contest (time permitting), raffles and giveaways, models, vendors, and DJs. SHOW PRICES - All registration on day of show at front gate Spectator $15 with flier (regular $17) *flyers printed off computer ok to use - right click on flyer image, print. Coupon only good for spectator admission. Children 10 and under FREE Car Show Entry $25 (does not include free passenger pass). *Note, IFO only charges $25 per car show entry, not $50 to $60 like other events that claim to give a “free” passenger pass. Im hoping it will. It gives everyone welllllllllllllllllllllllllll enough time in advance + gives us time to put mods on for a show of this caliber. I know its to soon to start a list but it puts the thought in minds. Ill start the list sometime August so even then we have enough time to prepare.

sorry this ^^ really makes me sound like a you-know-what; but I don't mean it that way at all. I just think that we could have a huuuge turnout, and if we can count on the ones who actually know 100% that they can and will do this full force, MAYBE we could make this a whole weekend thing. Bump! Ok ppl Summer is almost gone. Is everyone prepared for this? Its getting closer. Since this event is dead center north between orlando and tampa. We should have two groups our orlando ppl and our tampa ppl. We should all meet up right off of i75 in ocala. From there we all can roll to IMO in a huge group. Ill be rolling with the tampa ppl.

Yes yes, well there arent really many parking lots right by I75 in Ocala, best would be the mall or at CFCC, which are both right by the exit on I75. But I plan to make it aswell.

Ok I'm in and we should meet @ the sr44 on i75. Turnpike ends @ that exit and we can meet @ the gas station right on the corner. So everyone from orlando take the turnpike and we meet them on i75. Its perfect.

Updating the attending list on the first post as ppl are saying they are coming. I think the sr44 would be the best since it is right off the turn pike. I say since gates open at 10. What times do you think we need to prepare for and remember mike we are on your time so add 30 more extra minutes onto it.

Well if i remember right from when i went last time, it took about an hour to get there from the SR 44 exit. so if we meet up at like 9 it would work. Because even if we get there right when it opens, there was a long line of cars waiting to get in.

me and ektor hopefully can go, we will see, depends on if i find a job or if we find a roommate to help us stay in florida. But we will see when we get closer to the date. if we go, we may stay the night on saturday just so we can be at the dragway early. but we will see what happens..

i think its for serious racers. I went to the one in january. Cars would do the strip, pull into their pit, their crew would hook up all the comps and etc to the car, they would adjust the tuning on it, and then they would hit the wait line for the strip.
Thats what i saw goin on last time.
