We have come up with a beta system of representatives, similar to the system of one of our sister sites. Basically we are looking for people that are active, mature, with good leadership and people skills that can represent us in the area... People in this position are responsible of the following but not limited to: - Represent FloridaLancers.Com in meets and events - Will be the "contact" person for the area. Example if there is a big event in jacksonville, that person will be the person to call to for information etc. - business cards and decals provider... this person will contact carlos (sspvinyls) and do the arrangements to get that decal to the member. Same with the business cards. - keep the forums up to date with meets/events/and shows happening in your area... - report back with event/meet results and feedback in the staff section. Other stuff will be added as we go.. this is a beta system on the works... I think we have good people in here willing to step up and help floridalancers.com be as big as it should  How are we choosing this people? By nominations and volunteering...Each member will nominate a Rep and an aRep.. (representative and an assist. rep) for the areas... the areas are: - Jacksonville: covering from Pensacola, Tallahassee, Gainsville and surrounding areas
- Daytona: Covering daytone, deltona, ocala, mount dora and surrounding areas
- Orlando: covering altamonte, winterpark, clermont, kissimmee and surrounding areas.
- Tampa: covering lutz, lakeland,m brando, bradenton, sebring, port st lucie and surrounding areas - Miami: covering anything from West Palm Beach and down. _____________________________ Each member will nominate ONE Rep and aRep for each area... ony one guys! You dont HAVE to nominate one for EACH area.. if you just want to to an area or two thats fine... if theres a tie we will take it to a vote... Great idea to promote the site. We've been doing local promoting at car meets, which is twice a week around here in brandon. But... hector..any idea when we could get more business cards? I ran out when giving them away about a month or so ago.

Im down to be the rep for the daytona area, i live out near Ocala. if thats cool with you guys
oh and i need to get some buissness cards, there are quite a few lancers at my school. and i never see who owns them so i cant go and talk to the ppl.

I will be getting about 5000 business cards done professionally. If you would be interested I can get some for everyone. All I ask is to cover the cost of getting them made. for example if it is $125 to get them done then it would be .025 each card.
If you want 500 of them then it would be (500 x .025) = 12.50
Is everyone cool with this idea? if so I will find pricing on cards.

I honestly think whoever has the time and management skills to organize and communicate to ALL members could fill the representation spots with no problem. If I'm chosen, awesome. I'll perform the job to the best of my ability. If not, then I have faith in that whoever IS chosen will perform the duties given to them with the utmost responsibility and professionalism.

so we ARE doing reps, or not? And are we doing the monthly/bi-weekly/whatever meets or not? We need to get this rolling. Maybe we should just go ahead and organize these ourselves?
