Holy shit bro that sucks. Where'd she hit you? Got any pics of the damage?

(All driver side) The bumper, the wheel well fender, and scratched a little bit of the headlight and mirror. I will post pictures and a damage price after I get home from getting repair quotes.

So far the damages comes out to a little over $1,000. Here are pictures, and a picture of the driver to be aware of. She really dislikes Lancers, so she may try to run you off the road as she tried to do with me!

(2003 Chevy Trail Blazer)

The repairs are new front bumper, new side fender, new driver left mirror, re-buff/re-polish headlamp, re-pinstriped. repainted, all OEM Genuine parts. Total of 13.4 hours, approx. 2 days to complete.

Repairs should be done within the next week, after the investigator of my insurance company comes over to examine my car, and talk to Maurice's Auto Repair Shop with the estimate they gave me.

So until my car's boo-boos are healed, no USF on Friday.  :(

So, I'm at another delema while I'm waiting for my insruance company to finish gathering information about who is at fault and all that nonsence.
But, my question is a concern that regards the Cai;
INJEN's installation guide towards installing their Cold air requires me to "remove the front bumper". I was wondering if anyone had any sugestions to installing this system, without removing the CAI. Please let me know, I planned on purchasing the CAI sometime next week!

Installing the INJEN CAI does require you to remove the front bumper for the best positioning. As you can see in the PL thread below you don't have to but it'd be best so you can make sure everything is fitting perfectly.

And there is the how to thread on PL:

This thread is so intense haha I love how there's so much unsung tension in here =P

Read this whole freakin thread in one go around lol, actually learned some stuff in here!

Nice lookin car, have you been in contact with any rally racers in your area or stuff like that? and have you been off roading yet to see what you would want to do first to your car?
good luck on your repairs, and please everyone keep posting random bits of information, =P this progress thread should cover everything eventually XD

Thank you for the compliment; I did manage to take my car to some local trail by my house that would resemble a rally rack, lol. It rides amazing in dirt, but after I started to realize my potential wasn't in rally, but more towards a 'show' car, I stopped taking it out on dirt. Plus, I should of been thinking smart; Dirt+Traction control off+drift~=potential crash.
Also, my goal in the next few years is to trade in my current car, and buy the EVO XI Hybrid or EVO X GSR, I'm still undecided as of right now. Hybrid will be great on MPG and will have more power than the X, but I personally don't like the body style. Prices will also be a factor, just depends when the time comes. Evo XI will be out around 2013.

Also on the repairs, so far I'm still waiting on the insurance company to finish their investigation. The other driver, after her first story of "I didn't know I hit him", changed into "it was his fault and he hit me", even though she cut me off, pushed me off the road, as well as left the seine of an accident.

So this fine morning my car was involved in another accident. Driver drove into me from the rear, and my car got out of the shop about 5 days ago. Things are minor, more damage to my car than to his. I will post pictures once I get home.

Why do you ask..?

Edit; Damage costs are $800, the guy said he would pay for it since he didn't want any trouble. So Monday I'm getting repairs.
